Are all of the Matco Top Torque screwdrivers made by Witte? I have the set like in the first photo below, and they are far and above my favorite drivers, so have been looking to buy a second/backup set. Looking at the Matco site and scouring eBay for a set, seems the handle design has changed a bit. Are they still Witte drivers just with a different design on the handle? If so, I think I can live with that. Any one know for sure? I don't have a Matco truck I can just step onto and look, unfortunately.

Thanks!

I haven't stepped foot in a Matco truck in years so not sure if all current Matco screwdrivers are made by Witte (not sure if there is anything other than Top Torque). But the Matco Top Torque screwdrivers are still made by Witte.

I have the same ones as in your pic, just the green & not orange. Witte no longer makes this style handle & of course neither the previous generation (which I used to have) so Matco will follow suit. Have a look at Witte's website & you will see.

Thanks! Makes sense. and yeah, that is what I have as well, just the green handles. They are incredible screwdrivers. I may order some Witte branded ones of the new style handle, since they are cheaper than the Matco rebrands, and see how they are. Seems they would be the same as the Maxx Plus handle style after looking at the Witte website.

Appreciate the response!
