i have them, there fairly long. i love them, ill put these up against ANY wrench. The spline drive really does do as it says. ive taken bolts off that others rounded off, especially exhaust bolts.

hands down worth the money. id buy them again if i needed to.

dont really know what you need pics for, they look exactly like the ones in the catalog, as far as measurements, the 10 is a well over a foot long, and the 19 is probably 2ft.

Your link was for the XL flexheads,
Here are the lengths by size in inches: 8mm:11.42, 9mm:11.81, 10mm:12 3/8, 11mm:13, 12mm:13.75, 13mm:15, 14mm:15 9/16, 15mm:16, 16mm: 16 9/16, 17mm:17 3/16, 18mm:17 5/8, 19mm:18 1/8 inches long.
Sometimes they are just too long to use.

i want to see a pic of the flex head side mainly. is it a pin that holds it on?

yeah i know it was the flex heads. i have other wrenches that i can use if they dont work in some applications, but i dont have any long ones, so these will be plenty big. thanks for posting up the lengths:thumbup:

Neal has good picts of the SK ones (except flex head on both ends). I'm pretty sure they are made by the same company, and I think the length is similar (if not the same).

they arent the same, the sk ones are offset on the ratcheting end, and honestly, are really annoying trying to use.

I find that the extended drive end on my SKs is a huge benefit. It allows me to get into places where I don't have much clearance around the bolt (similar to a fixed head wrench). If the drive gear was flush with the wrench, I would not be able to use them as often. Like other ratcheting wrenches, they would be too bulky to fit in many areas.

I see. I didn't notice that. Then here is an E-Z Red set that has no deep offset. Again, both ends are ratcheting - there is no fixed end.

Either way, the picts should show the pin used in the flex head.

those stick out a small amount on each end, atleast the set i held did.

i cant figure out who makes the matco ones, as their one off from everything.

im sure they have their moments, as there have been times the 0offset didnt work well for me. Thats when i just flip the wrench over, break it loose, and flip it back. Then again, there have been times the flat head as been extremely useful.

IMO, that's the beauty of the SKs--you can use them either way by flipping the wrench over. One side is flat and the other has the extended gear.

There are 2 E-Z Red sets that I know of, but I haven't seen either in person.
NR5M (non reversible, no other brand AFAIK, looks to have flush gear)

EZRRM6 (reversible, same as SK brand, deep drive gear, has 5 pcs even though part number has 6)

It would be nice to see a long flex head wrench with one end for the break and the other for the ratchet.

not sure what you mean? Isn't that what this thread is about?

Or do you mean the non-ratcheting end is flexible, and the ratcheting end is fixed??
Or do you mean both heads flex?

Kabo makes them for Matco, Mac (Edge), SK, Blue Point/Snap on (not sure which ones).

I would be very surprised if Kabo were producing for Matco, as it is a Danaher brand. They have been making for Mac Tools and SK, but I'm not sure if they still have the SK business. Blue Point is from Cendai.

And... next time I'll check the links before I post (Matco SRFB...). That looks *exactly* like the Kabo design ratchet head, and I don't know anyone else that makes that type. My bad, and now it's time to make some calls.

Hey Reversegear, nice to see you again. :)

Yes, since that post, I've since realized that SO/BP doesn't have anything from Kabo. From my understanding, the guts are purchased from Taiwan, then fully assembled in the US. Is this correct? Also, do you know of any other rat. wrenches that are fully serviceable like the BP 80-tooth?

Last I heard, Blue Points were made in Taiwan, and the Snap-Ons were forged and machined in the U.S. with Taiwanese mechanisms.

Which BP 80- tooth tool are you referring to?
