Good luck buying sp in the US. I don't know why anyone in the US would buy the sp or matco. When you have so many other options like Milwaukee or DeWalt, snap on if you want a truck brand

They actually did a video on these with a matco dealer with both Milwaukee and matco and the matco actually out performing the Milwaukee

And if you are just looking for impact this would be a great addition for anyone

If you're referring to SP Air/Kuken they don't make anything cordless. Its contracted out.

My Matco dealer talks people out of the matco impacts, and into the Milwaukee ones, he said the warranty for the Matco ones is a pain and doesn't compare to the Milwaukee, wether that's true or not idk, I had already purchased my Milwaukee and no one in my shop has a Matco battery tool

The Matco cordless look just like the Ingersol rand cordless. I have the Matco and love them . I have the Ratchet, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 have out powered Milwaukee and Snap on in real word working on Class 8 trucks and mine are the older grey ones. I used the daily for years with no issue. A co worker left his 1 day old 3/8 Matco cordless on the tire of the truck then backed out and over it they actually warrantied no question I was surprised. I ran the head of mine over also and it didn't break I will post pictures it still works great.

A cursory google I was able to find the 20V Matco MCL2012HPIWO for $389 and the 18V SP81130 for upwards of $700 everywhere I saw. They do look similar though.

Maybe it's just me but that Matco doesn't look like the IR you posted. It does look like the SP.

He is wrong. Professional Tools of Taiwan makes their Air and Cordless. Been a pretty exclusive supplier for the last few years.

I call that the same but the $389 is for just tool no batteries or charger it's over 700 on matco. I heard IR made Matco impacts at one time. I got the older 19.2v nicad and love it although any new impact would put her to shame. There is no warranty or repair parts for mine so if it stops it's trash so I'm looking into a newer snappy in green.
