Just wondering if anyone has a material cost for a pole building. 2x6 girts, posts, trusses, metal. I have several bids for pole buildings and would just like to know material cost less labor. That someone may have done the leg work already.
Thanks Jeff

Im in the process of building a 40x60x16. Lumber, metal, trusses and insulation should run around 17k.

I priced it all last summer before I built.. 30 x 50 x 12, no concrete, insulation or electrical, just matl for the shell was right at $3300

I had a local pole barn builder do it that I have used before, he supplied matl and built it in three days for $8500 ,thats with adding a 30 x 8 shed across one end

I roughed in my own plumbing and electrical, concrete ran me about $3500

My building kit was ~14k that included everything except concrete. 36x48x14. The materials were first class all the way and even the county building permit was included. I worked with http://www.mwbsc.com/ and can recommend them. I'm not sure that they work your side of the mountain though.

I'm almost to 23k for everything on my 30x60x14 with comp roof.

Poles were about 1000$, metal siding only was about 3000$, Trusses were about 1000$, Roofing was about 3000$, 3 12x12 doors were about 3000$, Concrete about 5000$, gutters 500$, Lumber and hardware another 2500$, permit was 2000$. Wow, it really adds up.

Then I spent another thousand on foam under the slab, 800 for pex tubing.

The pole barn companies, seemed to double the material cost to cover their labor.

Not all pole barns are created equal. The above picture shows some pretty skimpy poles, I have seen them with huge poles and bolted rafters. Mine is somewhere inbetween.
