As my shop is nearing completion of being erected (huh, huh) BUILT, my next step is electrical. Are y'all seeing a big increase in the cost of material, ie. boxes, wire, panels, conduit, like everything else?

ditto, the stuff is made out of unobtanium... electricians are at a standstill around my parts, one of our customers is married to an electrical contractor and she mentioned the other day he can't get stock to work with

Welp. Sorry y'all. If I hadn't decided to build my shop late last year, then I don't think we would be seeing these nationwide shortages and price increases.
Y'all can blame me, I'll take responsibility.

That's how my luck always goes. As soon as I go to pay 20 bucks for something, the price increases to 35.....

I had wanted a 80 cct power panel. 60 would have done the trick but thought I would possibly need the additional for future.
Well I ended up with a 120 as that is all the distributor had in stock. Otherwise I was waiting 6 weeks.

My advise start stockpiling materials as they can be found. Compile a material list.

The Square D manufacturing plant near me has had rather large "help wanted" signs out front for at least 9 months. Even the Wendy's just down the road had to re-close their dining room again because they can't get staffing. A Hemp business between the two just completed a big warehouse, they seem to be able to get workers (college town).

I needed a 2 1/2 90 sweep conduit for service entrance. Not to be found anywhere. The local electrical supply has 5 for a mere $63!!!!!!

This Saturday I won the lottery and found an old dusty one up high on a shelf at Lowes for................. $14.95

Seems like the industrial side hasn't changed a whole lot for us, maybe a slight price increase on some things.
Now anything remotely related to residential or commercial is a different story, as mentioned crazy price increases if you can even get what you're looking for.
I bought an Eaton CH (CHP14B100R) panel back in April, originally had a 5 week lead time, now they don't know when I'm going to get it....Eaton said they have some crazy number like 200,000 of these things on back order...that number kind of crazy to think about.
