figured I'd start a thread since I've been on here drooling over some of yall's setups. Heres my small 2 car attached (better than nothing though) :)

We coated the floor this past summer with tan epoxy, and painted the walls tan.

Plans/work in progress:

-pegboard/channel board on the 6ft sections on each side not drywalled
-add on more fluorescent lights
-more shelving
-homemade work bench to attach vice and work on greasy car parts
-stereo system
-misc. other things i think of as I go along

I'll get a pic of the whole garage once I get the **** up from cleaning/organizing this past weekend.

out with the old crappy light...

in with the new (Lithonia I-beam highbay t5)... yea, high bay.. i realize now.

gonna find some 8 footers to go long ways on each side and think that'll be enough. this one is super bright though, but i like to be able to see.

Nice progress and cool cars. It makes life so much nicer when your family helps to support the garage overhaul. When I did mine my wife helped out by painting all the cabinets.

Thanks guys. Think I scored a sweet *** work bench from my dad. We both work for a power plant, he's been there for a while and year ago they were getting rid of some old shop stuff and he has a massive steel work bench with cabinets/drawers in it... i bet the damn thing weighs half a ton or more, we had to put it on pipes and roll it to even budge the thing. I'm gonna try to get it over and in my garage, possibly strip it down and paint it black. it's probably 10ft or so wide, 3ft deep and 3.5ft tall. has 4 big drawers and 2 or 3 sets of big cabinets underneath.

went to harbor freight today, bought some socket strips for the scragglers, and some organizing bins. did a little organizing/cleaning, but didnt make much progress. hopefully get it 75% finished this weekend (organization wise)

What goes in the garage?

eh? none of my current cars i really consider garage worthy. we have new cars, but i just don't like the hassle of garage keepin em. i use it to work on the jeep and projects more than anything. when we get a bigger house we will have a 2 car attached for the cars and a huge shop out back.
