Editing a post (other than for grammar or mistakes) can change the flow of a thread and make replys look out of context.
I totally understand an editing timelimit, we do it and it is 2 hours, total. We feel if you cannot get your thoughts together in that time frame, you can ask a moderator to make any additional corrections, in 5 years, we have had maybe two dozen requests. 15 edits in 24 hours? That is more that generous in fact too much iMHO, not the amout of edits but the amount of time allowed. Tip: Reread what you typed before hitting "POST REPLY"
