Has anybody installed a MaxJax on anything other than a bare concrete floor?

I am thinking about installing the MaxJax in a garage that has Race Deck flooring tiles.

I am considering whether to install the posts on top of the tiles or to remove the tiles and mount directly to the concrete floor.

Thanks

Rick

Columns have to be flat on the concrete. You'd have to cut out around them and consequently loos close to half inch hight. Had to do away with tiles for that reason.

I imagine it'd be OK to have some steel plates cut that are the same size of the base and the same thickness as the racedeck. Use those plates as spacers. Spacers could even stay on the ground if you were going to remove the maxjax and only use it occasionally. That way the floor would still be level instead of having holes in your racedeck where the bases go.

Here's mine. MaxJax bolted directly to floor and RaceDeck cut to fit around base.

I like the idea of cutting around the RaceDeck and using a steel plate as a spacer to bring base of the MaxJax up to the level of the flooring.
