Maxjax bleeder screw problem

The bleeder screws on my Maxjax leak when I try to bleed it. They use a bonded washer on a bolt to seal. If I put a new washer on then it seals fine, but if I raise the lift, then loosen the bleeder screw to let the air out, when I tighten it the rubber washer separates from the metal washer part and basically blows out and leaks fluid till I lower the lift.

I bought a 50 pack of 1/4" bonded washers from Lowes and have tried about a dozen times and they all do the same thing.

The original washers that were on it leaked as well which is why I am replacing them.
I talked to Danmar and they sell the washers for .25 each but then want $15 for shipping them which is unreasonable.
Anyone know of another 1/4" washer that can handle the high pressure or has anyone else had and bleeder screw issues?

An O ring would blow out even worse I think as its just a shouldered bolt that screws down on top of it, no groove for a o ring to sit in.

Good idea, I was actually thinking about trying to find a caliper bleeder screw that fit but the copper washer may work. Thanks

One of my bleeders was leaking also. I tried a copper washer, but it only worked for a few times. I tried the
maxjax parts phone number and all they did was refer me to the Bendpack parts website. It seems to be worthless for small parts. I figured out it is a bonded seal (Dowty washer), size M6 (6mm center opening).
I ordered these: https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/9500-06MM.html
They are about half the thickness of the original (1mm vs 2mm), but seem to work.
I ordered 6 and the shipping (first class mail) was only $4.25, plus sales tax for my state.
