Okay so they say a minimum of 4” but after drilling a couple holes I’ve found that mine is 3-3/4”... so my question is if I’m only lifting a mustang weighing around 3500lbs will this thickness be enough?

I have no answer for you, but I'm wondering if you don't actually have 4" when surely the bottom of the hole blows out when using a hammer drill of any type on concrete.

I know nothing about this, but it almost seems you'd have to use some sort of water slurry diamondy thing to get an accurate read.:headscrat

Don't cut corners when it comes to safety in the shop. Nobody can tell you what to do, but you know you need to sawcut the slab and pour two keyed footings with rebar at the proper depth.
