When I called, I asked about also purchasing the ATV/Bike adaptor + a set of extra inserts. Any word on that? Thanks

I asked about that too, PowerDubs, and talked to Gabe yesterday (he called to confirm some info) and he said he still wasn't sure. Sounded like they were waiting for the M/C adapters to come in for inspection or something.

Unfortunately, though I participated in the first attempt back on the 15th, I could not participate in the group buy that was planned for yesterday at 3:00 due to prior committments.

Just for fun, I logged on this morning to see who the lucky guys were and find out that the buy was changed again and the buy was done before Sunday.

I was not aware of this change. I received a phone message to call Danmar last week and I did, the representative apologized for the mess but did not mention any change in the group buy date. I did not log back in last week after talking to a representative last Monday. I knew I was going to be out of town during the buy, so I just blew it off. Now this.

What the heck is going on here?

Ok.looking thru the list I see an awful large percentage of the members who got lifts have join dates in the last 2 mths and post counts in the single digits. How many of you just joined up for the group buy?I think it would have been a better offer to have offered it to members registered before the offer date. Not that I care,I don't need a lift and have no desire for one I've never seen up close so I wasn't even paying attention to this topic, this is the first time I've clicked on the thread.

Tyler, (Trex)

...and will an invoice be sent to the email address provided to confirm the price, order number, shipping date and other information provided?

I am not trying to be impatient, as I do not mind the wait at all, just want to make sure all the ducks are in a row.

+1

So who has plans to mount this in a semi-permanent location? I personally am planning on installing this in my back garage that has around a 7'-8" ceiling. I want to install it using the reel and control kit so I have a nice finished product, but do not want to give up the portable pump unit, or store it. Any thoughts? It appears to me that the pump/ control unit is the same between the two and could be removed from the stand and adapted to wall mount with very little work.

Since this takes less space than the mid-rise I have, I was planning on installing it in the single bay side of my garage... but I might also leave anchors installed so that I can also move it to the middle of the garage (where my mid-rise is now) if that setup does not work for every project.

Can't wait! I am currently working on a friend's car changing the shifter bushings... I wish I had the lift already, everything sits right on top of the mid-rise and it is a b* to work like that (you see how I am already justifying the purchase!? :D ).

First Group Buy Winners!

For those of you that are seeing this for the first time and wanted to participate in the contest, but couldn't - please send me a PM with your contact information.

PS - I apologize for the delay. It took some time to verify the Garage Journal Usernames. A few were not valid and needed to be corrected or replaced. Nevertheless, was finally able to get it posted at 7:30PM.

I appreciate your patience.

TRex,

Please check your PM's. I PM'd you on Saturday and haven't heard anything back.

Thanks,
K

I just checked my credit card, and now it's not showing the purchase of the lift. Right after making the purchase, there was $1500 taken out, but now that $1500 is back? Is there a problem?

Just guessing here, but maybe they did some sort of temporary authorization to make sure the card was valid/had enough available that has since expired? They shouldn't charge until they're shipped, since they said it would be 2-3 weeks.

Again, just guessing.

That's exactly what happened. For me it's been listed as a "pending charge" for a week now but hasn't been actually charged.
