MaxJax Hydraulic Flow Divider has leaking bolts

I am in the process of installing my Max Jax Two Post Lift (6000 lbs).

My problem is that the ends of the four bolts that hold the hydraulic flow divider together are leaking hydraulic oil. Hydraulic flow divider part #17207037

The instructions say it is okay to use either hydraulic oil, or Dextron 3 Transmission oil. As I said, I used hydraulic oil.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

talking about the bolts that hold the distribution block to the mounting plate? Shouldn't be any fluid passing anywhere near those.

Does it look like this? are you talking about the four hex bolts? Or you talking about the hydraulic hose attachments themselves?

Most likely an oring was pinched or damaged on assembly by whoever built the divider. It should be a simple fix as there are not a lot of moving parts in one of these. Is there a manufacturer's name on the tag? I have never seen one with through- bolts and retaining nuts. The center section is usually threaded and bolts enter from each end. Are there two acorn nuts or adjustments for pressure on the back side? These units can double the outlet pressure due to intensification if there is no relief protection.

It's leaking at both ends of the 4.5" hex bolts that run right through the assembly. I have not tampered with it. Taking it back to the supplier.

I've attached 2 pictures (one of each end).

Danmar customer service is pretty good. I'd start by calling them before returning it.

Best to go to the Mfr for sure. Probably a simple oring issue. If they get torn oil has a slim path to the bolt holes. My new Atlas lift had a bad seal on the cylinder rod-end head and leaked. I am still curious about the lack of port reliefs.
