MaxJax M6K Bendpak Paint, Weld, Fitting Quality??

Hey guys,
I just picked up a MaxJax M6K (2020/21 version) used for 6 months. Old owner moved and needed cash so he had to get rid of it and I got a great deal (compared to current '21 inflated costs).

I noticed the lift arms had some spray paint repairs on the welds. It didn't look like the old owner did this, but more like the MaxJax/Bendpak US warehouse made some repairs to welds.

It looks like someone had to grind down some poor booger welds and they touched up with spray paint. I assume its a QA thing after they receive the parts from China.

Has anyone noticed this with their new BendPak or MaxJax.

Also...the quick connect fittings (both sides) failed on the old owner. Has anyone experienced the springs popping out of the female end? I was able to get this warrantied but may have to keep an eye on it for future when warranty runs out (these are $85/each side from MaxJax).

I’ve probably read every MaxJax thread since day one. Not much on the latest version and new features except Dolfan’s who got a custom V2 with V1 baseplate holes.
