so i installed my new lines yesterday. one side i had the arms still connected. other side i had the arms removed. i raised it to about 24 inches and left it over night. i wanted to test for leaks and didn't see any. when i came out this morning, the side that had the arms were on the ground. i thought perhaps a leak sprung but it was super dry. i thought maybe there was some air in the lines but didn't see any when i bled it a couple of times. I removed the arms on the side that went down. i noticed that both sides weren't rising together. almost 3 second delay. then i raised and lower and bled again. now it was a lot better. I called dannmar and they said that is normal. Weird considering the side without any arms didn't go down at all. kind of scary to be honest to think if you forget to lock the post, the arms would come down.

They had me push both the raise button and lower arm at the same time for 15 seconds. that seemed to help synchronize the arms.

anyone else saw this before?

Thanks,
Sid

If the arm went down it could be a leaking cylinder seal, a leaking one way valve, but the leak would be internal and it would not show any sign of external leakage. Tests it again overnight, with maybe some weights on it and see if it goes down again. If it does, you may have an internal leak somewhere not necessarily related to the new lines. Maybe some dirt particles got into the system during the change, maybe the lines had some dirt inside and is now affecting a valve by not allowing it to seal properly. A piece of paper towel, a piece of Teflon tape if used, refilled with dirty oil, any type of foreign particle introduced in the system and floating around in the oil could affect the valves.

weird never happened again and this time i had both arms on there. i'm guessing the side that was heavier was able to push the fluid back through the proportion valve vs the lighter side.
