I went to disconnect and stow the MaxJax M6 today and one of the quick couplers is completely stuck. I can get the sleeve up so that the ball bearing is about level with it, maybe 1-2mm from the point where it would normally disconnect. I can push inward and feel it "spring" back, but I cannot pull the thing off for the life of me.
I have tried cycling the lift under pressure and relieving pressure (this sometimes works when my tractor's hydraulic QDs get stuck), but nothing has worked.
Any advice, short of anything that would require me to bleed the whole system again?
Update, in case anyone finds this and needs a solution: Both couplers failed in this manner and could not be repaired or removed with any typical tricks. I removed them from the hoses and installed new QD couplers from Tractor Supply which haven't had an issue in 2 years.
