Hey guys.

I want to raise only one side of my Maxjax and I'm a bit confused.

First off, it looks like there are many different updates and versions sold. From the pics I've seen online , shipped are different power units, hoses, wheels, and pads.

The version I received did not have quick connects at the diverter valve like this: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=506581&d=1367721406

I always thought that the people who got the quick connects at the divertor got them with the motorcycle kit. Now, when I look around at the installs seems like most people got them with just the Maxjax. Is this true?

Also, what is the purpose of the bottom right outlet on the divertor?

My manual only says to disconnect the opposite side top hose that you are not using to raise as a motorcycle lift.

I tried calling Maxjax today but the line was not working and its going to be Saturday tomorrow.

You can add another connector to do exactly the same thing...just remove the "shipping plug" and add one. then it will look like what your first photo you posted. You can buy it at tractor supply or any place that sells hydralic fittings...you will have to drain the pump anyways and you can remove one of the ones and take it with you to match it up...

OR you can do what I do... I leave both posts connected... it wont work with only one side plugged in (thats why there is anothern port for the additional fitting which is dedicated to work that way) and just let the other "unused side raise/lower with nothing on it. Sometimes I pull the pins and take the lift arms off so I dont walk into them. It works fine that way... and costs nothing!!! :3gears:

Thanks for the reply.

FWIW, I emailed Maxjax on the weekend and I got a reply today. They said quick connects are not included at the divertor valve.

Also, he says that the 4th port at the right bottom is not used for the Maxjax and is unsure why people are using it.
