I've ordered a Max Jax lift for my attached two car. I'm cutting out a 4' x4' pad under each column location and replacing the existing slab with a footer12" deep and drilling rebar into the existing slab. While I see the width recommendations for the columns on the instructions I'm struggling with how to locate the columns from the wall and garage door. What is the best way to make sure I get these set properly. Main use will be for a 1972 Corvette and MGB's.
