Does anyone know specifically where to raise a 07 Tahoe Z71 4WD with a MaxJax..

I've learned from lifting a Vette that you want to be very careful :) Hoping to find someone that has a MaxJax / Tahoe that could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!!

It should be no different than any other two post lift. Front arms on the forward most part of the frame before it goes up. The rear one can be placed on the rearward most part of the frame right before it goes up to accommodate the rear axle. For longer vehicles or if you have excessive weight in the cargo area and if possible we place the rear arm on the forward leaf spring mount.

I just want to add that a Tahoe has alot more solid places and will probably be alot more forgiving than a vette

Yeah if it has a full frame this is my standard procedure.
Some unibodies are just a pain to put on the lift, I'm still apprehensive every time we lift one just on the torque boxes.

Small BMWs are the worst I've seen. In order to get the arm under the front you have to have someone lift at the wheel well to get the arm under the car

The curb weight on that Tahoe is like 5300lbs. With a lift capacity of 6000lbs on the MaxJax isn't that cutting it a little close? For safety, I've always been told you want to lift up to 80% of the capacity which would be 4800lbs for the MaxJax.

Although this is a 2 year old thread I will mention that all lifts are tested far beyond their rated capacities. 6k on a 6k lift is perfectly ok. We lift up 1 ton crew cab diesel duallys all day everyday on 9k lifts and the 10-15 year old lifts work great.

Just because a thread is old doesn't mean it isn't relevant.
