I have 26 of the maxlite LSS2XT8USE4803
They were put in the garage 6 months ago
Very good lighting
One of them is humming/buzzing from time to time
It will even do it when the lights are not on
One time when it was doing it I got the ladder and tried to find which one but it would stop doing it before I could find which one
My main question is would there be any chance of it catching on fire
They are flush mounted

if it's doing it when the lights are off I would wonder if it's picking up vibration from something else in the building.

No vibration in the building
A week ago I walked in through the man door quiet as a mouse inside and hear the humming
It’s weird
It would do it for 5 minutes or so and then stop

The maxlite LSS2XT8USE4803 is just a strip light housing. If something is electronically buzzing, it would be the lamps. What lamps are in there?

That's a decent bulb. Should have no issues with returns if you can isolate which one(s) is(are) defective.

I will try again to find the culprit
I’ve tried twice going up and down the ladder and touching the bulbs
Then it would stop making the noise before I could find it
You would think you could walk right underneath of it but it just don’t work out like that
I would walk to the one that sounded like it was making the noise and then it sounded like it was coming from another row
Might just be my old a$&. Lol
Thanks for the great advice plan tonic solid and Bert
I’m glad to hear they are decent quality bulbs

hahaha....buzzing from light fixtures has been going on since the beginning of time. As you have learned, it's impossible to figure out which one is doing it. Kinda the same with crickets....
