I installed a 75,000 btu maxx heater in my garage a couple of weeks ago. The heater has ran great several times. I started it today it ran for about ten minutes and then blew my fuse on my fused switch. I checked all my wire connection they were good. I cannot find any burnt wires. My fan and exhaust motors don't smell burnt. I tried two more fuses they blew. Any one had this problem or have any ideas. thanks

So, are we talking fuses or breakers? What is the amp rating for the fuse/breaker? How old is the panel/breaker?

I bought a light switch that has a fuse in the switch {new] The old round style fuse. It has blown a 10amp and a 15 amp fuse. I checked my exhaust motor today it is good. I took the switch off and hard wired my heater in, 15 amp breaker did not pop but heater doesn't work. I am baffled now, might have to hire a prof.

Can you post up a sketch as to how you have it wired? Either draw a sketch and scan it or sketch it up in paint?
