I spotted the 3 pack of these at Home Depot today. The price was 50 bucks.

It's a good choice, because it's the same pry bars that I am using!

Here is the Craftsman(Mayhew Dominator) 3pc set...

Craftsman Professional 3-piece Curved-Blade Pry Bar Set

$42.50 right now

ya...if you are going to buy this... don't get it from HD.... (unless of course you can use the HF 20% coupon)

Use the Sears link above to get the prybars (local pickup)... also go to "local deals" tab, select tools should show 35 items depending on where you are, select the Craftsmans chisels for $11 and change, once you select it it will drop to $10.30 I belive (less than half price)

this will put you over $50, use the coupon code sears2012 and get $5 more off and go pick your items up for $48

(see GJ discussion on the craftsman chisel deal http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=154920)

My pal said devildogtools have had some quality problem, is that true? He can mix up information now and then, so I don't fully trust what he's saying.

Those look identical to my Mahew-made Craftsman Professional 3-piece set that was on sale for $35-40 at Christmas time. So far I'm very impressed with the pry bars.

received mine yesterday and put them to the test, the bars are made in the states and the handles formed in Taiwan. I was impressed with the strength of the bars, however I'm not impressed with the USA made quality control. The first bar I hit with a hammer I was not happy, it felt like nothing happened until the handle finally bottomed out, The handle was not slid on all the way it was about 1.5 inches from bottoming out. I thought that the handle and the striker plate were supposed to be all one piece.

All in All I give the bars a 10 out of 10, I give quality control 5 out of 10 .
