Is there a Tekton connection?
The website says that they are unavailable at our store as well. Are merchandising person is usually working ahead of schedule, so maybe she put them out earlier than she was supposed to. With new products sometimes the website doesn’t say the stores have them until the week they are supposed to set even though they are in the store’s back room so that we aren’t having to dig through a whole pallet of stuff to find someone a single small item that they ordered online for pickup.I'm interested in a few of those. Too bad the TSC website doesn't show what's in stock at my local store(s).
If so, they're not made to the same spec. E.g. the Tekton and Channellock handles are completely different in design and materials. Not sure who the OEM is, but sure seems like some of the Mayhew, Tekton and Channellock offerings are from the same manufacturer.
Speaking specifically towards the hard handle screwdrivers and pick/hook sets, etc.

It sure seems plausible that the shaft, heat treat, etc might all be from the same source. Is it possible that Mayhew *is* the OEM? I don't know why they wouldn't have the in-house abilities to make screwdrivers (and obviously mini pry bars). It would seem like all the tooling would be at hand...
