I had one of these when I was in the NAVY. I loved it. For that price I would be all over it. I've been considering buying one for a "tool cart".

Price on the Mac website is $2,599.00, Link with more info. So it sounds like a real sweet deal.

IF I buy the bottom (today) for $500, I would never find a comparible deal on the top. This is probably a situation where its best to buy BOTH or nothing (???)

I need overflow space for my KRL1022 and just not sure how best to solve it.

Dont really have room for 72" long box.

Need more shallow drawers in 1022, but cost is outrageous

With better pics, better marketing can I flip the MB8800 for much more than $500??

Thanks to all..............

You should see if Snap On will sell you new drawers for your existing box. It is an easy way to add some squares!

Hello Joel,

SNAP ON will sell additional KRL drawers and slides at a VERY HIGH PRICE..........

This has been discussed at length in other threads

There is absolutely no $$$$ reality in buying more shallow drawers for a KRL/KRA box

I would look for a top box for your KRL. It might be a hard thing to find though. If you can't find one, find a matched pair, top/bottom combination, and then sell your KRL.

you could buy it and use it as a mobile work cart
you could also add a Cman top box that you find a deal on

SKYLINE, My KRL1022 is Electric Orange and finding a used top box to match will "never happen"

I'll just keep looking, watching, and waiting for my next deal and pull the trigger.

I'm VERY interested to SEE what Shannon is coming up with re: MONTEZUMA drawer options and Orange, Lime Green , etc boxes...........

Thanks for your inciteful comments.

Would not be real cool on top of a KRL1022.

If you are looking for square inches you should think about vidmar/lista type boxes. Truck brand boxes are made for guys who have to lock up everything when they leave for the day so they are going to have some deep drawers.

A double wide vidmar on wheels is 66" tall 60" wide and 29" deep with 12 to 15 drawers that is a lot of square inches. A 12 drawer double wide vidmar near me just sold for $1200 and an 8 drawer DW lista for $800, the deals are out there. They are hell for stout as well. Three of the standard 29" square boxes in a row would be a lot of storage as well and cheaper than a KRL box, but not very mobile and used they aren't generally in stylish colors.
