Recently became addicted to SO tools. So what does any good addict do? I went down to East 233rd street in the Bronx, NY and got a nice SO fix. Didn't want the toolbox but the guy wasn't looking to sell just the tools. So...now i am the proud owner of an MBC Eldorado Toolbox. Truthfully....I LOVE IT. But sadly i just can't keep it. Anyone who knows the name will tell you it's a great box. Suspension is fantastic. Sits a good 72"h 33"w. 10 Drawers on top, 3 in the mid, and 7 on the roller. I don't think this is a shipable item....or rather i don't think you can cost justify shipping this item. If anyone is in New England I would encourage you to come take a look at it. Before posting any pics i want to clean it up. Or at least get the grease off it. There's a lot of grime so it will take some time.
Now here's the absolute best part. There was a crackhead who used to stop by their transmission shop. Every once in awhile they would throw him some cash and he would do some art work for them. You can't make this stuff up. The gentleman who owned the box built and raced dragsters with his father. The crackhead painted this killer dragster in the shape of a transmission. It's actually really impressive.
Box also comes with a hotel key #15 bolted to the top box flip down door.
If anyone is looking for a great box let me know. Not looking to make a fortune, just looking to recoup a little. But more importantly I'm hoping there's someone who knows the brand and can appreciate its history.
