I purchased MC cable for my project. It's 8/3. I went a long with the "People also bought this " thing and getting straps and MC connectors like it said .
The connectors came and they are 3/4 inch. My cable just came in too.
I lined up one of the MC 3/4 connector over the MC cable. Way to large.
I took a caliper to the MC and it measured around .7 inches or 17.8 mm
I need to to purchase a few of the correct size but don't know what that it.
So many different styles of MC connectors.

I guess I'll just go down to the nearest Home Depot with a cut off piece of my MC cable and see what fits.

My question concern is what size of conductor do I need for 8/3 Mc cable. I am aware of all the different styles
I am showing you that there are different SIZE connectors for MC cable. The pic is all of the same style connector.

Depending on conductor size and fill, the Mc jacket diameter changes.

I cannot believe how much variation there is with MC connectors between 3/8 and 1/2 inch.
I have a 8/3 MC cable and cannot find a connector to fit properly.
The 3/8 with a screw to attach cable won't go on. i can't find 1/2 in the same style. The 1/2 squeeze fitting is way to large and won't close tight on the aluminum.
I'm going to have to cut a piece off and take it shopping. I was trying to avoid doing so. Sore back and legs.
