McMaster is pretty good at telling you where things are made, but you've got to call or e-mail them.

McMaster does not always disclose brands, but they usually disclose country of origin in the catalog when it matters.

What are you looking for, specifically? MSC has a free-shipping promotion for machine accessories (MACH10W), and has decent prices on Triumph, Precision, and other USA bits. You can also pick up Precision via amazn.

Last I checked, you can get Triumph at Menards. If it were me, I'd go for the Magnum SPs as have already been mentioned.

So where were you on Christmas?

On Christmas Morning I had an emergency tower climb out at Dillon Beach, Ca where I had to be up a tower at 6 AM to do an antenna swap for Verizon Wireless. The wind coming off of the water was FREEZING and I couldn't feel my fingers for a bit.

On New Years day at 7 AM I had the same thing to do, but at Bodega off of Highway 1. That was for Cingular. It ***** working 24/7 for a salary w/o benefits or over time pay.

Sometimes I wish I was back in Kentucky, born in Elizabethtown and raised in Vine Grove outside of Fort Knox. Uh Hummm... My parents went to North Hardin High School.

Thread hijack. I also live in Santa Rosa (Riebli Valley) and have spent time at Bodega, back when there was a salmon season. It has been cold lately for this area.
Back on topic. Cannot speak directly to drills but I use McMaster often, have yet to be dissatisfied with a product or shipping They tend to have the better products, priced accordingly, but with easy return if your change you mind.

You're on Riebli Road? I am in Rincon Valley, near 12 and Calistoga myself. Can walk to Safeway if I wanted too. I agree, the weather here has been extra cold. I remember driving to USF on Dec 19 to take my last final, and I crossed the Fairgrounds, I saw that the outside air temps were 25 degrees F. I had to work the locks in my Ranger to get the door to open that morning. Been EXTRA cold.

I climb towers for the last nine years, but since I am the most senior guy on the crew I had to respond to the emergencies personally since no one else seems to be able to arrive when necessary. "Just another college job that we do for part time work", I keep telling myself. All part of getting bills paid while paying that tuition.
