With all the great stuff you all have been posting, I feel kinda silly posting my meager finds. But I think they are worth something.

A Thorsen slip joint plier (didn't know Thorsen made pliers). Cleaned, double-dipped the handles, and threw it in my work truck.
And the 3/8" corded drill is a Craftsman - made in the USA!!! After almost fainting from shock, I plugged it into the nearest outlet, and ran it both directions. Ran smooth and quiet. Heck, even the drill chuck is labeled Craftsman. How old must this thing be?
Took it home, disassembled and cleaned the vent holes. In very good shape internally - grease is still soft, brushed aren't that worn. Definite good spare drill, that's for sure. And how can I complain at only $5?

Nice finds, I'd guess the drill at mid to late 80's, if I remember correctly the early 80's Craftsman drills still had a metal front gear housing and plastic for the handle and motor enclosure.

Anybody have a clue as to the OEM for the drill? Maybe someone has an older drill that matches mine - I'd like to know the manufacturer and if I can still get parts. Sears has dropped it off their support listing.
