I have a pile of Komelons from when Menards had them on sale for $5. Other than that I have several lufkins and Stanley power locks. Really the only tape I own that I don't like is the fatmax the case is just a little to fat to use while I have gloves on and the extra stickout isn't something I find particularly useful.

Got 6 of these recently to toss around. General duty... metric and sae... magnet tip... large hook tip. Smooth operation.

metric -- no fractions to mess with..........I've been using one for general use for a while now.

I’ve pretty much transitioned to a Bosch GLM 20. It’s a laser tape measure good to 65’. Accurate to +/- 1/8”. I still use my Kobalt 25’ if I’m at home and it calls for it.
