I just saw this stack on a stick of that style gapper at the flea market on Sunday, Don. I've seen them branded Blue-Point and probably would've bought one if these were, but they weren't. Now I'm wondering who came up with the design (tapered disc) first. Not curious enough to research it, but I wouldn't bet against Ka-Star.

I was elated to find this partial U.S. Army QMC (Quartermaster Corps) "Regulator Gauge Set" at the flea market yesterday.

With the duck pouch in such good condition and the stenciling so well done and preserved (looking like it was applied yesterday!) it almost comes off like a reproduction item.

I have not done any deep research yet.

Auto-Lite is a famous, well-known company, of course, supplying all kinds of electrical/ignition equipment to the QMC, Ordnance Dept and others. Lanagan & Hoke is an equally old but lesser-known company in the same sector.

I don't have a lot of familiarity with this style gauge. I wish it had more of them, and I am unlikely to run into the others, but there was no way I was leaving it behind.

^ "Go-No-Go" gauge.

Voltage Regulators, perhaps?

I forgot to post this old "General" multi-blade gauge here. This is an oldie that originally held 25 or 26 blades. The .002 was snapped off. The .003 is buggered something awful, but it will do .004 - .025 just dandy:

Got a couple today:

Tiny Blue Point. The blade markings are engraved or roll-embossed in an elegant script.

I'm planning to clean it up and re-blue the blades, then put the blades back in order. It might even see some use someday.

No brand nor COO anywhere. I grabbed it because it has the .032" and .038, which are sizes I occasionally need that my disk-and-wire gauges don't have.
