I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good quality service/tool cart for working in a cramped shop environment where space is limited. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm open to all suggestions. Thankyou.

How much stuff do you want it to haul and how much do you want to spend?
Napa has two versions, one with four dawers and the other with seven that won't break the bank. The classic single drawer locking top Sunex (rebadged by everyone) is a bargain if you shop around. All of the tool trucks have a wide selection as carts are pretty hot right now since many dealers went to the standardized shop layout with built in cabinets. Welcome to the board.

i had no idea Napa offered service carts. this garage journal forum is very helpful. I'm mostly looking to have my quick service tools handy. I work in a motorcycle shop where a cart is handy to roll from lift to lift, but they have us packed in like sardines. Looking at price range of $50-$400.

Yeah I am a mechanic and I only use mine for the tools I use everyday. So I didn't really need one with drawers or anything plus the plastic can take a lot of abuse.

I will second that harbor freight service cart. I bought mine on sale for $99.99 and its some of the best money I've spent so far. I've got all my screwdrivers and 3/8th sockets and ratchets in there, along with my impact gun and impact sockets, breaker bars, multimeter, obd II scan tool, some hammers, metric and sae wrenches, pliers, and some more random odds and ends. I'd say the box is still only 3/4 full. Could easily re-arrange and double my space, even if it was a little cramped. Great quality, tons of space, and it should work well in even a cramped shop.

Its currently $149.99, and even that is a good deal.

the hf cart is still on for 99.99 if u got the coupon. i have one in my garage, and recently just added a 3 chest craftsman combo as my cart was over full, and i had tools all over my workbench as i took my old waterloo combo to school. The HF cart rolls easily, and if you just put in it what you need for general work im sure it would last a long time. I have my 1/2 impact, 1/2 chrome deep and shallow, 3/8 chrome deep and shallow, 1/4 chrome deep and shallow, ratchets, extensions, snap ring pliers, gearwrenches, screwdrivers, combo wrenches, braker bar, tourque wrench, screwdrivers, and im sure im missing a few things haha. Lots of room.

the Harbor Freight cart sounds like a great deal, the tool trucks just want way too much for their carts.

The last flyer I have from Harbor Freight shows the cart that I use. It will be on sale Nov. 18 thru Nov. 21 for $129.99. This is a special price that requires the $129.99 coupon. Regular price is $229.99.
