Hey all,
First post on this site I’ve recently purchased this old mechanical floor jack..
I’m having trouble identifying it, it has a lot of characteristics of a walker but no obvious markings. If any one could help that would be great thanks

I have the same jack and if I remember right it is a Walker 'Roll a Car' from the mid 30's to early 40's. I would have to double check when I get home. I love using mine as it is perfectly designed for prewar cars. It will even auto ratchet down but be careful with that handle! I can send you some period literature if you want. There should be a tag on the lower spacer on the handle.

That would be great, any information is appreciated. I’ve been using it so far with no issues everything working as it should. Just shows how well the older tools are made! It looks as if the tag has been removed.
Thanks
