Those in the building trades or construction - the answer might be different for productivity/speed.
When working with external fasteners - whether it be SS fasteners, galvanized hardware.
For SS, I generally use all hand tools. Low speed, etc - everything to prevent galling. Hell, I've had instances where hand thread - and coming back to it, it cold welded itself
For galvanized nuts, exterior ~finished~ fasters - do you hand use as much as you can within means to - as it's easier on the ~finish~.
