I don't normally review websites but just wanted to say I've had very positive experiences purchasing from this site and its so small and unknown I wanted to spread the word. Its a small rather crudely setup e-store but the prices are about as low as you'll find anywhere and they offer free shipping on any orders over $50. They are also an authorized timesert dealer and can overnight certain kits at no charge. Lastly they carry some oddball things that are a bit hard to find like 3M lubrication products (silicone paste/copper anti-seize).

Unfortunately they don't show up in searches too often (like google shopping searches, they simply aren't listed) so you have to know about the place to cross check pricing. Again they're often the lowest around on certain items and the low requirement for free shipping is very nice. A site worth bookmarking.

Pros
Low $50 requirement for free shipping
Extremely competitive pricing on the items they offer
Regular orders are shipped within 1-2 days and tracking is provided promptly
They stock some not so common items.
Free Overnight Shipping On Timesert Kits; if you've ever stripped something like a head bolt thread without a replacement on hand you know how valuable this is.

Cons
Site is a bit of a mess but useable
They don't show up in search providers (again google shopping is a big one).

you weren't kidding about the poorly made web site. I hate it when you click to enlarge a picture and it's the same pic just in the middle of your screen with the background dimmed

I know this is an older review but just figured I would add to it. I have been using Mechanics Tools and Bits for years for Timeserts and a few other things and they have always been great. Nice to deal with a smaller company who seems to care ! And I think he must have improved his web site because I dont see any issues with it.

It's probably me being a seasoned citizen but i found Graingers web site to be a pain in the *** to navigate while I was attempting to purchase a wrench pouch. Then dealing with the sarcastic guy at customer service really added to my agro. Anyone else?

Their website is buggy and terrible on mobile, but if you want timeserts they got the range and it is pretty easy to find everything.

Man they could do so much better with some professional tech and SEO help!
