Bought 2 pairs of these last week and they showed up today. Free shipping and I don't think I paid tax. They are $12.99 and they claim list was $27.95.

Wonder how these would hold up. Probably more my speed.

Good price on the above. I can get the non-doodad mechanix gloves for 14 bucks but this model has minor grip doo-dads. They're probably good gloves but I'm a cheap sob.

That is a great price for the 2 pack. I always have a pair of the fast fits in the car.

The reviews on amazon weren't that great so I passed sadly.

I generally never read reviews, so far these gloves are comfortable and seem strong. I figure the only people that write reviews are chronic complainers.

These definitely seem like good deals on both sets of gloves, especially the fast fit. I think both have their place.

My past experiences are ok with Mechanix gloves. I think for what I use them for, they wear out quicker than I would like. I have purchased the fast fit, and the general purpose gloves with the hook and loop fastener. They're usually $20 in store iirc. I use them for working on my vehicles, general things around the house if needed, and while building things using 2x4s, osb, plywood, etc. I find if the gloves do wear out, it's usually in the fingertip area. I've had several pairs wear out in the thumb tip area faster than the other tips. I do have the same happen with the Craftsman gloves.

I think the Mechanix gloves have a great fit to them without a lot of extra material in the wrong places. They breathe good and have worked well grip wise for my situations. I would like to try the ones in the first link posted. As far as the fast fit, they're great for in the car or truck. I may have to place an order for a set of both linked.
