Ive been using these for years. I tended to buy them by the dozen until about 4 or t years ago when i got a pair the seemed a little different or possibly fake.
I then gave the semi- disposable nitrile palm type gloves a go interspersed with the slightly dubious new mechanix originals.
Anyway i grabbed the last set of nitrile gloves from a drawer the other day and was surprised to find a few pairs of original original gloves! and i can say for absolute certainty that they have changed the material in the gloves in recent years. When i put them on to use them they were soooo much better than the recent ones id bought...
I then remembered that when i first got a pair of dubious quality originals i emailed mechanix wear to tell them someone is making inferior copies of their gloves and i even offered to send them the offending goods.... they never replied... guess they knew they weren't fake!!!!

I still wear them, though not as much, the fit isn't the same, I get a lot of promotional gloves, 3-4 pair a year, through different purchase deals: Monroe, Mopar, etc. ,We don't have a supplier for Ringer's here locally(Eastern Canada), but a number of years ago I got a set of Ringer's from CARQUEST,(CARQUEST Branded), and they were the best fitting gloves I ever had. I still have them!

I used to wear them more often... now I find myself wearing those thin nitrile-dipped gloves for most work. They breathe better and provide enough protection. My mechanix gloves always had holes/splits in them or saturated in oil.

I'll still wear them when dealing with sharp or hot work.
