Hi Ive been contracting at a ceramic site for the past six months and part of my work was to put this lovely Meddings drill into a waste skip. The company allowed me to take it away for nothing, so shortly will be the renovation , I have already removed the fabricated guard and saved the bench it came on, updates soon

anyone else got any pillar drill links

Tell us more about how that "guard" works, or doesn't.

the guard was fitted to prevent coolant spraying everywhere, the drill was used as a sort of milling machine with an x and y axis threaded feed attachment. I have now removed the guard and hopefully return it to its original colour
