MediaVines bottom banner ads

The bottom banner ads started showing up today. From MediaVines.com. Not GJ related ad topics at all. Showing up on the iPad, haven’t tried a PC yet.
Just me, or is it just to help with costs on the site?
I don’t mind it, they just slow down page loading dramatically.

Same here. I checked the site for a few minutes on my work laptop. There was a banner across the bottom and a separate video ad playing in the corner just above it.

When I opened a thread, there was an ad after every two posts. I've never seen anything like it on GJ before.

Had it so much, YESTERDAY that I finally installed another ad blocker. All has been well since.

Brave web browser. Most of the ads are auto blocked.
