I have Snap On (three sets) Sunex and Carlyle. I like 'em all.

I've got the 1/4" and 3/8" gearwrench sets...I use a couple of the 3/8" ones on exhaust manifold or turbo manifold studs where the shallow isn't quite long enough to clear the stud but a full deep puts my ratchet at an awkward angle. Definitely don't need them most of the time but they sure are handy for certain things. Also it's sometimes useful when you need an extension but not a full extension.
