I decided to try some Megapro screwdrivers, so I purchased a few. I purchased four of the Amigo versions because they are small and they were inexpensive. I like these well enough.
I also purchased four different 15-in-1 Multi-Bit Screwdrivers. I have not used them yet, but, they seem to not be overly comfortable in my hand compared to most of my other screwdrivers. The 15-in-1 screwdrivers have a "Easy Guide Rotating Collar". This is the part between the main handle and the shaft. Two of the rotating collars rotate easy enough. One rotates with difficulty. One rotates with persuasion.
Question 1: How easily should this collar rotate?
Question 2: What does one do with this rotating collar? I have been known to spin the shaft while loosely holding the collar on some other screwdrivers. This rotating collar has some flats and and my first thought was for use with a wrench, but it also is supposed to spin.
I guess I need to use these before I decide how much I like, or dislike them, but, I am trying to figure them out. I have only had them in my possession for a few hours.
