Joined after finding the forum after searches on compressors. While most of those searches are for smaller air compressors, there is quite a bit of good information (work with large gas and air compressors here in an old refinery).

Looking forward to contributing to the various sub forums. Hoping I can help out!

Actually the old Sunoco plant in Claymont, DE / Marcus Hook, PA. Know a bunch of the guys at Delaware City though.

Most of the plant that was in DE has been demolished, new plants being built. Unfortunately DE has been reluctant to give permits for a plant that was going to span the state lines. The new layout takes a turn to stay on the PA side of the line, crazy as it sounds.

Cool I have worked at Eagle Point before on the heater house jet replacements. Pretty sure my neighbor in an instrumentation guy at Marcus Hook.

Delaware, the Small Wonder!

I worked at Sunoco for many years, then left just before they shutdown. Then with DuPont in Edgemoor, left just before Edgemoor shutdown back to Sunoco. Hopefully this new operation will go on until retirement!!

Nice I have worked at Edgemore as well, and Chambers Works, and all the DuPont sites in the area.

Chambers Works is a ghost town now, hope you got paid!! Edgemoor is completely leveled. Sad.

Looked at your Web page page (is that right?), outstanding work!! Wish out intranet was that well done! Maybe a future opportunity??

Welcome to GJ.
Watched the building of the second span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge in '66.
Left Delaware in '72 to come to Florida. Always missed it a little, in fact kind of regretted, leaving but had no choice at the time.
Worked for Sun Oil on the ships for a brief time before leaving.
