That just doesn't seem like enough, that's the problem with this country, every kid gets a trophy.

I think member status should be based on a time and post count. Not just one or the other. I damn sure don't deserve senior member status for my short time here. And some people are post whores and have a 50 post per day average, yet you also have members that have been here since 2007 and have one post.

Post's such as "nice", "cool" "hey where can I get one". No real value or contribution, just looking for that 3 or 4000 count that makes them look like intelligent contributors.

I'm a member on another board and the only time you get a credit for a post is in one of their tech sections. Weeds out a bunch of post whores. I'm all about giving a good job or looks great post to deserving folks but some people call that padding. Who gives a **** how may post you have. If you are not providing useful info or creating legit questions while looking for experienced answers that can benefit others in the future, it doesn't matter. The only time I look at someone's count or membership date is if I'm buying something.

Unless you are a casual visitor to the site, then you'll judge people for the content they post and the manner in which they post it. Post count isn't really much of a measure of anything worthwhile by itself, except maybe time spent on the forum or love for the forum (possibly).
