That's good news. I found something in their flyer that I didn't know I wanted. I think they're experimenting with mind control or something.

Agreed I hate mail in rebate BS, waiting for their in store 11%. I price checked a few things last week and Menards was almost exactly 11% higher than HD on what I needed, what a surprise.

I did a bath remodel about this time last year with an in store 11% and they were far cheaper than HD, Lowes or anyone else I checked even before the 11%.

That's odd. Menards has never increased prices for the 11% sales/etc., and they almost always run the same or cheaper than any other store. Given the 111% price match policy, store associates actually price shop other stores and mark down anything to match competitors prices with red tags. Any time the price match policy is used, it comes out of the bonuses of the department managers. (Not sure how much, but they take a hit for it.)

There is not a 11% "in-store" as you say anymore. The only sale with instant savings will be the 20% bag sale IF they do it, and we're past the point where it would normally run, so we will see. Of course if you are smart you would buy gift cards now at the 11% off :)

I hate when they have the 11% rebate because although EVERYTHING is on sale, NOTHING is really on sale if you get what I mean. I prefer their regular paper ads and sale prices.

The 11% rebate sale is great if you're in need of a lot of stuff for something like a remodel project. It came in handy in the fall for a bathroom model, where most of the stuff I was in need of doesn't normally go on sale.

But right now I don't need anything, and just want to browse their flyer for some good deals...so I'm looking forward to the end of this!
