Last year, it was an absolute zoo at my local Menards. Each checkout line to register snaked around the store for about 200 or 300 feet !!

BF ad looks pretty blah to me. That miter stand I have bought at Menards for $19.99 before... $40 in the ad. $8 infrared thermometer is okay.

The Zilla reel for $50 is great. Sale price has been like $70 at Menards, and that's the regular price at Costco.

Wish the 3-day ad was in there!

IMO, The days of some screaming deal are over. These retailers have stuff made especially for BF.

That said, I hope that HD/Lowes/ACE/etc run one of those 22' folding ladders for about $100. I would like to have one of those for tree trimming/etc.

My brother bought one. They are OK. They are a little light duty. I like my HF 56 better but it's twice the price.

Was in Maynard's today. The miter saw stand was $29 and they had a bunch of them. Big joke.

HD has the Werner 23' Folding at $119, a great deal. I have this one and used for past few years - super great ladder for this size, very solid and stable, but it is heavy to move as a result. My 28" aluminum extension weighs about the same as this 23' folding one. - Paul
