Rebate form states "only applies to products purchased at full price". I suspect they will automatically screen your sale priced items out. John is no dummy.

No dummy, but he makes mistakes. Like when he offered 11% off on gift cards,, that I assure you was a mistake - he didn't realize people would walk in, buy a $500 gift card,, get 11% rebate,, and turn around and use the gift card on $500 of stuff, getting another 11% - right then and there.
Mistake and he hasn't made it again.

Plus his race cars are always losing

Anyone know if the masterforce 72s will be going on sale anytime soon? If I remember right it was about this time last year they were $500 off. Can't remember if it was a Black Friday thing or just a sale.

I got mine 72" a couple months ago for $999. I heard they do it twice a year.

They have the Masterforce Tool Boxes on sale and 11% rebate. I think that is usually the lowest they go. They weren't running any black Friday or cyber Monday sales on them.

Sorry, I didn't notice the others didn't have a sale other than 11%. I guess probably best price for 41" is going to have.

The stores were actually provided notice that it was acceptable to do. They most certainly had planned for that to happen. 20% back as a rebate is nothing crazy when places have a 50% margin on goods.

You are correct I worked for menards and we were aware. What people didn't notice was the prices going up. They do it the morning and are done by 10 am.

I don't recall prices being any higher during that particular 11% rebate sale. I keep pretty close track of prices on a few items.

I was wondering about that stand, they didn't have a display model. How does the saw mount to the stand? Any idea if a makita metal cutting saw would work on that stand?

I have this stand as well and love it, especially for the sale price. They give you two brackets that clamp to a dual rail on the stand. The two brackets have adjustable mounting slots that take any 4 bolt mounting pattern. If your saw has a four bolt hole pattern, it should be able to be mounted on this stand. I've got a 12" single bevel DeWalt miter saw on it currently.

Of course they were out of the drill bits today.

Bought 6 of these drywall knives because they were 99 cents. https://www.menards.com/main/buildi...4421590962-c-8951.htm?tid=1082837634512865675

Also bought 6 more of these flashlight combos. 3 for me to have in different places and 3 as small gifts. https://www.menards.com/main/lighti...8095248636-c-6314.htm?tid=1637949990426552383 Both the headlamp and the flashlight are of decent quality.

For those who didn't see my thread on the garage heaters: https://www.menards.com/main/heatin...m?tid=-579922379402189068&bargainStoreId=3296

Thanks, it has 4 mounting points, so it should work .

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the drywall knives.

11% off sale starts now. Get 11% off on top of all of the current sale prices! So if you were holding out for a deal on a Masterforce box, now's the time.

Is it really that good of a deal? I opened one up and they look like extremely crappy bits. The metal case is kind of nice I guess.

I paid $33 last year and was happy with that price. As metal exclusively bits I would say you might not bother. I use them primarily for wood and they are just fine. They are only $5 so it's not like you have a lot to lose. They would make a great gift for a gift exchange with a low limit.

About the 11% rebate. I purchased a $500 tool chest last friday. Could i take my receipt to the store and get it reissued so i can claim the rebate? I do not want to return the tool chest.

Menards often has a separate 11% rebate that deals with these situations.

Ask for a price adjustment form. It covers everything bought the week before the 11% rebate period.

60 gallon compressor for under $360 after rebate. Does anybody have this? I've been searching CL for a couple months and most 60 gal compressors seem to go for more than this used. I'd be using it in a home shop, relatively light use.

Based on your description of use you will love it. I have had the same one in one of the sheds for ten years, no trouble whatsoever. Just not as big as some out there being single stage.

Now they're only $1.69 after all the rebates. I'm going to buy 2 tomorrow after work. Can't beat the price.
