Free cheapo stanley utility knives, the green pry bar set is on sale for $20, that aluminum yardstick is free after rebate again. That's about it, not that interesting.

Dont know the brand.. grey label rollers and brushes.. got 3/4 nap rollers for 2 bucks each, dont know if they're clearanced or not. All sizes marked down, brushes marked down but not as much. Waterloo, iowa

Picked up the pry bar set and it literally turned my hands black. WTF!!

Lots of Bosch stuff on sale right now too!

Most black oxide tools come new coated with oil to prevent rust. Common on impact sockets, punches, etc.

I don't recall the Craftsman versions of those bars having the oil coating but they may have.

That's what I figured, but it sure made a mess of my otherwise clean hands. I'll take some ISO to them when I get home and recoat with T9.

Its like getting 11% off at Home Depot since they match 11% in the form of a gift card. I recently bought a Weber grill that was on clearance at HD and got the 11% back and Menards doesn't even sell Weber.

So if I go to Home Depot I can just say I want to match menards 11% off? Sounds like they don’t even check if menards sells it?

Not quite that easy.

(1) Go here and click on link to find out if your Home Depot store is on the list for the 11% rebate:

Not all HDs offer the 11% rebate.

(2) Now check that HD site to see if you are within the applicable dates for a current rebate offer. While HD’s dates are usually similar to Menards, sometimes they vary a bit. Some exclusions apply. Check to be certain what you want to purchase is not excluded.

(3) Make your purchase at HD and don’t lose your receipt.

(4) Using info from your receipt, fill in and file your rebate claim at the above site. HD will mail you your rebate in the form of a HD gift card. It won’t be a check to cash.

Also, they are denying rebates with any type of discount tied to them. Military, free battery promo, etc. So, not nearly as great as the rebate once was

I havent done an official count yet, but i think the 11% may be over for 2019. I believe there is a certain number of weeks they cant exceed before by law having to reduce their price to the 11% sale price.

25 weeks. No more than half the year. Otherwise that is their standard pricing, and could not be advertised as a sale. Id rather not keep track of last year's 11% weeks, as things can always change. Though theirs has been very regular.

Nothing too special, roll of resin paper 9.99.
Up by the registers, 1.50 Wenzel farms sausage snack, I think they are on clearance. Too bad because I really like the Teriyaki twin pack.

I also noticed, the floor cleaner is now autonomous - they had a Santa bear in the seat.
