Thank you! Good to know. Menards is the closest box store to me at roughly 13 miles away. Lowes is next, and not much further, probably about 18 miles.
Anyway, Menards seems to always have the best prices on things like Channellock products. A big plus is I have NEVER had a problem with returns to their stores. Haven't had many during the years, but it is still nice to know you can do it without any pain.

Finally saw news of when they are gonna break ground about 7 minutes from my house.
I wonder how long it takes to build and stock a store?

That's old info, sale now always end on saturday.
I think the main point of his post was NOT that the sale was ending on Saturday, but was instead that it will be continued for yet another week.
Around here, that would mean three weeks in a row with the 11% off sale. That is a rarity.

Actually this was the 5th week in a row, starting back on 8/5/18. All of their 11%'s end on a Saturday, and without getting direct knowledge from someone working there (or you a real physic), there is no way to know what will happen the next week based off the previous ad.
The rule people keep on stating about 11% ending/starting I think have it reversed. I believe it should be, if the ad doesn't end on Saturday, the next week will not have an 11% offer.

Loaded 15 up the other day. Some hickory chips on some foil and toss a Jack's Pizza on the grill. Pizza soaks up that hickory goodness like a sponge.

For those of you who do rebates, this 45.00 flashlight is .04 after rebate. There was no sign on the item at my store, and they had to print out the rebate form, but it is active at least until the 11 percent adds tonight

Menards sometimes takes competitor coupons, but more often not for me. Never had a shot during a 11% week. Better off going to HomeDepot, they do their own 11% for where they compete with Menards. There you can much more easily use a Lowes coupon, or bring a military friend.
But, I haven't seen log splitters at HD, in store at least. So sorry to diverge off topic
I always send my rebates in all together, and always send my adjustments in with the normal 11 percent to the 11 percent address. Never an issue

that seems to indicate they don't allow percentage off coupons
"Competitor Coupons for a percentage off a total transaction will NOT be accepted."
so i wonder if a specific dollar off coupon would work like a $5 off $25
