Edsal 77" W x 72" H x 24" D 3-Shelf Metal Shelving Uni - $115 after rebate

I'm a huge fan of these shelving units (currently own 3 and may buy another). This is the cheapest I have seen them from anybody.

Sorry I don't have 5 posts I couldn't post the link.

They have 4 shelf one as well:

Usually these end up on a nice price after rebate around Black Friday. I think the 4 shelf has been about $99 after rebate. Can't remember if they were in the 2018 ad, but I know they were in years past. Just a heads up if someone has a long time horizon on buying these.

Here's the link to the 3 shelf:

Thanks for the shelf post. Needed some shelving that was as expensive or as industrial as the Gladiator units I've been buying.

11% tomorrow or will I have better reading material for my morning porcelain meeting?

will home depot match the 15%?

I tried in the past, and they told me I had to bring in a Menards bag for the offer. But as with any non-standard item only price-match, ymmv as it is up to the individual store.

Don't let them tell you it has to fit inside the bag though, it can stick out, like the M18 super sawzall kit I hope to stick in it. :)

Says on the bag it can be twice as high if it sticks out. Home depot matched me once, I also had to bring the bag

In the newspaper or at the store. Might have to ask at customer service if they aren't sitting out.

They had a huge bin of the bags at the front door at my local Menards.

I tried to price match some items I had bought in the past two weeks, but they wouldn't do it with just the receipts. They said because I bought during the 11% rebate sale I had to actually return the items and buy them again.

If you don't have the items, first buy them, then go return them to save a trip back home.

I think i have ordered 6 of those so far. They have been that price since last year. Even with shipping, I thought they were cheap enough to not have 10 more feet.

Looks like it would be just under $70 with shipping and tax. So one could get the 50ft in store right now for if it fits in the 15% bag for the same money.

I ordered multple each time so shipping was combined. I think it was about $5-$7 each to ship. So about $60 each with tax. Even with the current $10 off and 15%, the 50' would still be $74-ish with tax.
I guess it depends on how many a guy wants and where you are located on whether the deal makes sense.

I'm not seeing a limit on that, usually they limit rebates like that to 2-6.
kinda late with 11% ended now but there is no limit. I bought 29 bags so after redoing the math subtracting tax and stamp the final gain once rebate is received will be $26.60
That's not a huge money maker with pretty big risk if you forget to send rebate. I always have a few weeks of rebates to send in that I save up and send all together just before final mail date to save stamps.
lots of my people in my family have dogs and local shelters can always use them so they will go to good use.
After looking closer at my math and receipt this time I have now realized I have been still paying tax above the free price on items I don't need but get free anyways. On overpriced items that tax can really add up and really make an item not needed or used anytime soon not worth buying.
Example that best comes to mind is free foam brushes and paint brushes typically $4.99-9.99 but free or make $1 after rebate. These are going on very often and have bought many limits of them over the years. I dont bother cleaning brushes anymore and definitely have more than I'll ever use in my lifetime. I now realize I should have stopped buying them a long time ago. Better late than never though I suppose.

But, when you go back and use the in store rebate, that purchase is not taxed. So basically you get the first tax back by purchasing something else that you would've gotten taxed on if you paid with cash or card. It kinda washes out.

Ah. good point! I always need something for house or garage so rebates never sit around long.

I'm going to have to look at my receipt closer next time. I always thought their rebate check was treated as a form of payment, not a coupon. At least in Michigan, there is no tax on food, so if that was your purchase for the rebate, your thinking you get out of tax all together (if rebate covers the whole next purchase). I wouldn't doubt it happening the way retailers treat coupons/deductions differently, but would think the states wouldn't be happy with that setup.

I suppose if Sears points reduce your tax on purchases, this could be considered similar. Just seems like there could be scenarios where the state would want their tax, not that I think they need it all the way some states waste their spending.
