I actually received them today. For others who thought their rebates may have gone missing, I guess there is hope.

I just realized I have some more to mail in, but I've missed the final mailing by a couple of weeks. Hopefully they will be accepted.

I missed that date on my last one, but it was accepted. Thankfully.. it was a $30 rebate. :)

I don't think they're very good on checking or enforcing the expiration dates. I've sent in some past the due date and they've always been accepted.

That's good to hear. The amount is fairly insignificant, but with enough of them it starts to add up.

These Purolator One filters are my preference for my wife's Cruze, and at $6.22 after rebate this is about 1/2 price of any other retailer. The canister type filter for my truck is also a few bucks cheaper than other retailers. Wish I came across this earlier, I was just at Menards and the one I bought from Warehouse deals was used. :eek7:

Just got my rebate after 12 weeks! Yay!

I see Menards is switching to Purolator oil filters, so all the other brands are on clearance. Bosch, Fram, Quaker State. I hope they update their selection. They would have 20 for a specific Ford engine, but not even a SKU for the one nearly every Honda engine uses.

Lots of Craftsmen power tools in the clearance aisles too.

Part of what I do is maintain rental properties for a few customers, most are very nice, and a few are total shitholes. Anyways I have one shithole that has a drop acoustically ceiling in the hall under a bathroom to cover a hodge-podge of plumbing updates...There was a leak that screwed up a single 2x4' tile. What a relief to find that Menards sells them individually instead of me having to deal with a whole case of 8-10 from the other guys. To me and the customer, that makes it a good deal.

This post is not a complaint or a slam against Menards. I'm just sharing my experience in how long it's been taking to receive the rebate checks. Since their rebate programs (11% and otherwise) are virtually the only "deals" they've been offering for months, the time it takes to receive the checks is relevant data to share in this thread:

My 05/09/20 rebate submissions took five weeks to get a check.

My 06/13/20 rebate submissions took nine weeks to get a check.

My 07/10/20 rebate submissions took twelve weeks to get a check.

My 07/31/20 rebate submissions took eleven weeks to get a check.

My 08/26/20 rebate submissions took twelve weeks to get a check.

Menards does this all the time with sale prices. That is why I am not as anxious as others to have the regular Menards sales to come back.

Not in my experience. I rarely see anything like it and only posted out of humor. Last year I bought that same exact door for $225 when it was on sale.

I have a habit of checking the regular price behind the sale price at Menards. It is not at all uncommon to see the sale price only like 50 cents or a dollar less than regular on $30 or $40 items.

I would not be surprised if doors have gone up like other building materials.

About an hour ago, I was told by one of the cashiers that the 11% rebate sale was ending this Saturday for the rest of the year.

Buy what you need if want to get your 11% Rebate.

Don't forget that Menards does a ton of manufacturing in the US as well. So you aren't just supporting John Menard, you are supporting a lot of hard working folks that make the stuff you see in the stores. So everyone running to home depot to support........?

I just got the latest Menards flyer. It advertises the last 11% sale of 2020 starting Sunday, November 14 and ending on Wednesday, November 25. Menards will be closed on Thanksgiving day.

Yeah, I saw that. Either somebody changed their mind or the employees were told wrong.

Doesn't matter either way, take advantage of the 11% sale if you need something.

I noticed the LED portable work light is clearance at Menards. The website lists the clearance price as $24.99, which comes to $22.24 after the 11% rebate. This light looks identical to the Braun LED work light sold at Harbor Freight for $34.99.

The Braun one is $19.99 on the HF BF ad, just an FYI.

Enough about the f#cking rebates already.

The majority of the Masterforce tool boxes seem to be on sale. I don't know that the price is any better then the 11% off sale that ran all summer.

5 in stock at my store. Tried to order online for pickup but I'm not paying the $1.40 processing fee...I'll go tomorrow and pick up a set or two. I like the shortness and the quick change. Thanks

Man i've been watching for the 11% sale for some time now. Need a bunch of brake cleaner.

Dave

Can't you just put a bunch in the 15% bag? I'd much rather have it taken off at the register than wait months for a rebate check.

Around here it's on sale. Not much of a sale though.
EVERYDAY LOW PRICE $2.99
SALE PRICE $2.79
Good Through 1/31/21

CRC® Brakleen® Brake Parts Cleaner - 19 oz.
Model Number: 05089 Menards® SKU: 2612860

The normal price used to include buy 6 @ 2.50 each. 2.99 is still the best price anywhere.

Yeah I saw it but 11% is still cheaper than the .17 of our whatever it is now. I'll wait it out. I have two cans left.

Jesus who cares who posts what where? it's a freaking message forum. With that said why the hell aren't they offering the 11% anymore? I've had **** in my cart for 2 months now waiting..

They ran 11% for like eight months straight last year plus the times they ran 11% from Jan through March 2020. I am not surprised they are holding on 11% for a while.

That said, all ads end on Feb 13th so they might start 11% on Feb 14th.

Yeah I've been obsessively watching it since Dec :). I knew the used to do it like once a month so I was confused. I've got quite a bit of brake cleaner in the cart ready to go when it does come up. Appreciate the input from those who have been helpful.
