I have never had even the slightest complaint with menards customer service. They have always been beyond reasonable and that is a large reason why they get most of my business for things they sell. My enthusiasm was definitely dampened during their hyper vigilance with the rona but they remain the best in the business for customer service.

The menards ad that ends tomorrow has some pretty great deals if you like the rebates. Free brake fluid, hot glue sticks, cheapo utility knife. Then one of the better deals I've seen in a while is a three piece set of made in USA Irwin step bits for just $20 after rebate. They also have unadvertised free after rebate snaps cleaning wipes including the bucket which is actually really nice, I just use them as dry rags.

If you already paid for the vise grips than you should already have the paperwork you need. If not then you're probably out of luck.

Besides, what they typically sell doesn't ship well and is usually needed TODAY!

Their buy online and pick up in store (for in stock stuff) has been getting better. If it needs to be shipped in to the store, skip it. Slow and disorganized.

My issues is the per-product pickup fee. It would be one thing if it was brought up to the front of the store, where someone buying online would think it would be for convenience sake, especially after paying extra. But no, the two I've done pickups at have you walk to the furthest possible place from the front entrance.

FYI: ive had the pickup fees returned in certain cases. up to the cashier

Yeah, the pick up fee is not worth it. Waited two weeks for a microwave from the next town once on top of the fee.

As far a I know, if it's in stock at that store they pull it and bring to pick up area at the yard. I've never paid a fee for that.

Spot on! There are good lumber yards in my area that stock great lumber, but their prices are way higher.

I continue to shop at Menards because I like their prices. Do I complain about their pre-curved silo lumber? Sure do... :ROFLMAO: But, if it bothered me that much, I could go to the local yard and pay 200% more. We all make choices, folks.
I can usually pick through the Menards pile and find enough non 360 degree lumber for the project that I am working on. But on rare occasion I have wondered over to the tool department to borrow a **** or other cutter to cut the metal strapping which is on the fresh pile of straight lumber placed behind the renmant leftover dregs remaining from the front pile. It's usually a junker cutter because the Knipex and other good ones are encased in plastic and unusable. Probably because of me.

Here in my neck of the woods, our Menards has far better lumber than HD or Lowes. It's still not great, but definitely better.

Stopped at my local store to pick up the deadblows today. Grabbed all 3 and when I got home I peeled the barcode sticker off to find this. Says Facom and then was laser X’d out

Thanks to this thread I now own 4 of these, one of each size available. I wonder if they are on clearance because of the funky bar code label, as not a single one would scan at the checkout and had to be entered manually!

When I was young I had one hammer, now I have maybe 20. How did I ever survive with ONE hammer!

I bought a dead blow hammer at Harry Epstein last year and I think it was $10. All of the hammers had cheap address labels over the brand name, but most of them had fallen off, or were falling off. They were made for either Matco or Mac Tools.

A lot of free COVID memorabilia at Menards. Many brands of disinfecting wipes, masks, and hand sanitizer are included. They're even paying $1 for each half gallon of some brands of hand sanitizer -- no limit. I'd back up the truck, but I have no clue what to do with it either.

Any idea what the Make $1 Sanitizer SKU was? I'm not seeing it on the site, but they haven't always shown them there in the past either.

Placed an order for some hammers. They're advertising a mail-in rebate too.

I almost ordered a similar Wiha hammer the other day for damn near the same price of the four I just ordered.
