Menards evolution rage 3 10" sliding miter saw $159

I don't kow if it all stores closing them out or not, but my local menards has the Evolution Rage 3 sliding miter saw for $159 marked down from $249. Cheapest amazon sells it new is $261.

I bought one. A nice compliment to an abrasive saw or PortaBand.

Jump on this. I love mine. I use it only for metal and it cuts great angles. Make sure you get a blade meant for steel. The multi-purpose blade won't last long.

Just opened my new saw. Pretty nice for $169 bucks. I need to stay off this hot deal thread and quit spending money!!

I hate y'all who have Menards nearby. I had to buy off Lowes, HD wants $299 Lowes was $249 - 10% so roughly $225.

Check the deck though, my first one had a bad deck on it - check out the Amazon review for a similar picture. I ordered another and it was OK, not great but OK.

Personally, the two rage saws i purchased, Rage II and Rage 3DB were garbage. I returned both. I wanted them strictly for cutting steel. The table on the DB was off by a LOT. So you could never get a straight cut and quite frankly the table not being flat is dangerous as the metal could rock and jam into blade. The rage 2 i had wouldnt make a nice smooth cut. It was jagged and there was way to much slop in the pivot mechanism.

I ended up returning them both and bought a small grizzly swivel band saw. Best thing i ever did!
